Free Stuff and Great Deals for the Week of 8/21/2011

This week drug stores are featuring several freebies including toothbrushes, hand sanitizer and gas cards.  Retailers are still featuring back to school sales with great discounts on children’s clothing, and college dorm essentials.

Freebies

CVS – This week if you buy $30 worth of qualifying items you will get a $10 gas card for free.  Qualifying products include crest tooth paste, Oral B Toothbrushes, Palmolive Dish Detergent, Cheerios, Depends, and Allegra.  For more details check out cvs.com.

Walgreens – Walgreens has several free items this week including toothbrushes and floss from Reach and Colgate.

Rite Aid – This week’s freebies include hand sanitizer and pain relieving gel.

Great deals

Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic are offering 30% off everything at all three stores using promo code THANKS.  They also offer FREE shipping on any order of $50 or more.

Land’s End is offering 20% savings and FREE shipping on all Kid’s items including already marked down merchandise using the promo code HAPPY with Pin Code 2598.

Kohl’s is offering a shopping pass good for 15% of online or in-store purchase.  This offer is good on everything including sales and clearance items and is valid until 8/25/2011.

Back to School Bargains

Even though it feels as though summer is still in full swing, retailers and school supply companies are already beginning to roll out the deals.  Several Freebies are available but act quickly because as usual supplies are limited.

Bic is giving way FREE pens every day throughout the month of August.  Each day they will give out 130 pens every hour from 10 am to 8 pm when you like them on Facebook.  To get your free pen simply go to the Bic Facebook Page Click on the Bic Pen Pals Profile and find the Cork Board.  That’s all there is to it.

Another great freebie is being brought to you by Post-It Notes.  Sign up for a FREE sample of Super-Sticky Notes here.  Your sample should arrive in 6-8 weeks.

Office Depot has some great back to school deals.  They are offering a number of items for 5 cents including:

Many times you will find discounts in various categories and for various people. At this site you will find discounts for Federal employees. However with some of the deals you can be a family member and in other cases friends of the family are permitted as well.
